A QUAD bike rider who has been antagonising people living on a Droitwich estate has been handed a driving notice.
Fed up residents on Westlands have made multiple reports to police of quad bikes being ridden around the estate.
One man has been handed a s59 Notice for driving in an anti-social manner.
Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002 refers to vehicles being used in a manner which causes alarm, distress or annoyance.
A spokesperson for Droitwich Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) said: "After multiple reports of quad bikes being ridden around Westlands estate, a s59 Notice was issued to a male earlier for driving in an anti-social manner.
"This covers both the person and the vehicle should he drive any other vehicles in the same way."
The notice gives officers a number of powers including seizing the vehicle.
