THE News Group is giving guitar heroes a chance to get the latest news on industry innovation with no strings attached.

We have teamed up with organisers from the inaugural Birmingham Guitar Show for an online competition to give away pairs of tickets for the event on February 26 and 27.

The show, at Birmingham’s Bingley Hall, will feature major names in the music business including Gibson, Marshall, Peavey, Orange, Paul Reed Smith, BC Rich, Ibanez and Laney.

Show manager, Jason Hunt, said: “The Midlands has always proved a great location for rock’n’roll shows and we’re very excited to be bringing the guitar show to Birmingham.

“It’s the perfect chance for those who have always wanted to play to come and try and for experienced players to see the industry’s newest innovations.”

The show aims to feature something for everyone with an interest in guitars of every type with a live stage, a demo stage and stands from companies ranging from classical guitar makers to band merchandise manufacturers.

Tickets for the Birmingham Guitar Show are priced at £8.50 in advance (£10 on the door), with no advance booking fee and free parking at New Bingley Hall.
