BROMSGROVE residents woke up to a blanket of snow this morning, (January 18).
Advertiser photographer Craig Ross took these photographs of a picturesque Bromsgrove earlier today.
The Met Office has issued an amber alert for the Midlands, which means people need to be prepared for disruption and take steps to protect themselves from the impacts of the severe weather.
The heavy snow is predicted to continue until this afternoon, where it will ease off a bit.
Temperatures will not get above freezing, with predictions of -2C.
