BROMSGROVE’S Dolphin Leisure Centre is welcoming some of the stars of European wrestling next month with the arrival of Megaslam Wrestling.
The show is coming to the end of a 115 date UK tour, and will bring a host of stars from the wrestling world including Mexican wrestler ‘El Ligero’, and Australian Diva Toni Storm.
Managing director, Brad Taylor thinks wrestling fans in Bromsgrove are in for a treat. He said: “Our October tour is branded as the 'WOW Factor' show, as that is what it is, a mix of the best wrestlers in the world and a spectacular show, it is a show you do not want to miss.
“It is the first time we have performed in Bromsgrove and we hear that Midlands fans are some of the loudest in the country, we are all looking forward to it.”
The show also features 17-year-old Robbie McKenzie from south Yorkshire, who is organisation’s youngest wrestler, along with ‘The Juice CJ Banks, and James Mason.
Mr Taylor added: “We are experiencing a real growth in popularity, mainly down to the success of American company, WWE and our own lads from the UK, we have the best wrestlers in the world and fans that come out to our live events can witness that first hand.
“We put on shows for families, it is a good family night out, cheer the good guys and boo the bad guys, a real family affair.”
The show, which lasts for two hours, will include a ‘tag team mayhem’ match, a ‘Megaslam championship’ match, and a ‘royal rumble’ where everyone gets in the ring at the same time.
Doors will open on Saturday, October 10 from 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Tickets for Megaslam Wrestling are already on sale from the Dolphin Leisure Centre.
Matches scheduled to take place during the 2 hour show include a Tag Team Mayhem match, a Megaslam Championship Match and this year's spectacle, a Royal Rumble where everyone is in the ring at the same time!
Tickets are available now at Dolphin Leisure Centre or on the door. Doors Open at 7pm, show starts at 7.30pm.
