THE new food hall and restaurant at Webbs Garden Centre will be hosting a platter of festive events for foodies in the lead up to Christmas.

Throughout November and December, visitors to the Wychbold centre will be able to test out the new facilities with events from 'Meet and Eats' to cinema dining experiences.

Webbs' first ‘Meet and Eat’ event will be held on November 23, where master butcher Nigel Buxton will be teaching visitors how to prepare the perfect roast.

Local producers will be showcasing a range of seasonal food and drink on November 30, before the start of the ‘Festive Afternoon Tea Cinema Club’ season from December 12 to December 29.

Executive chairman Ed Webb said: "Our exciting programme of events allows Webbs’ customers to do their shopping at the same time as enjoying an extra special treat with friends and loved ones in our amazing new food hall and restaurant."

Webbs will also be hosting festive lunches between November 11 and Christmas Eve.

In addition to the food events, Webbs will be welcoming back its popular ice rink and Santa's grotto.
