THE search is on for Bromsgrove Conservative’s next parliamentary candidate.
Bromsgrove’s current MP Sajid Javid, who has represented Bromsgrove since 2010, announced in December last year his decision to stand down at the next General Election.
Therefore, the association have now commenced their selection process for a new candidate.
A spokesperson for Bromsgrove Conservatives said: “Sajid has been a fantastic representative for Bromsgrove as well as a senior member of government, including as Chancellor of the Exchequer and Home Secretary.
“Bromsgrove Conservative Association recognises the significance of selecting a candidate who will wholeheartedly serve the constituents, address local concerns, and champion the values and vision of the Conservative Party.
“A rigorous selection process will ensure that the chosen candidate is not only well-equipped to meet the challenges of public office but is also attuned to the needs of the Bromsgrove constituency.”
The selection process will be conducted over the next few months.
