A LORRY set on fire in Catshill this morning, closing a road during rush hour.
The small flat-bed lorry set alight on Barley Mow Lane at around 7.17am this morning (Friday March 15).
Two fire crews from Bromsgrove Fire Station were called to the incident near the Royal Oak pub, with firefighters wearing breathing apparatus to put out the blaze.
A spokesman for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to a large vehicle on fire in Barley Mow Lane, Catshill.
"Crews discovered a small flat-bed lorry alight.
"The road was closed but there were no casualties and no other emergency services were required.
"A thermal imaging camera was used to check an adjacent building for fire spread."
The incident had been dealt with by 8.42am.
