A BELBROUGHTON school welcomed Bromsgrove’s MP to officially open its new extension.
Belbroughton CE Primary School, in Bradford Lane, invited the town’s MP Sajid Javid to the school on Friday, (May 20), to cut the ribbon on the school’s refurbishment, and new library and computer suite facilities.
Bridget Nisbet, chair of governors, said the new build would provide “more opportunities” for youngsters, and an area for pupils who need extra support.
To mark the occasion the school council also organised a cake sale, which the MP, parents and governors were invited to.
The money raised is to be donated to the school’s chosen charity, Save the Children.
