A DAREDEVIL Droitwich granddad is set to prove the sky’s the limit no matter your age when he jumps out of a plane at 10,000ft.

Douglas Moseley, 82, will take on a skydive in aid of Leukaemia Care at an airfield in Cirencester on Saturday, September 29.

The pensioner, from Langley Road, hopes to raise at least £1,000 for the charity that is close to his heart.

He said: “I had Leukaemia a few years ago and the charity was very good to me and my family. I now want to give something back.

“Leukaemia Care does lots of important work for people with blood cancer and also supports their families and carers.

“I’m 82 so can’t do a marathon and don’t like cycling, so this was the easy way out,” he said.

“My family thought i’d gone mad when I told them what I was going to do.”

Mr Moseley has 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren who will all be supporting him during the challenge.
