MUSIC fans at this year's Isle of Wight Festival will be dressed in their best gold finery to celebrate the event's golden jubilee.
The 50th anniversary of the three-day event will see headliners Kasabian, Depeche Mode, The Killers and James Bay take centre stage this weekend.
To celebrate the milestone on Saturday, June 23, festival-goers will be kitted in sequins, glitter and all-things-gold for a chance to be crowned the Golden God or Goddess and receive an exclusive backstage experience.
To be in for a chance of winning, visitors must gather at the helter skelter in Strawberry Fields at 2pm.
The winner will receive a champagne picnic, a backstage tour and access to the pit to watch the action from the main stage.
Celebrations continue on Sky Arts, where there will be a premiere of the 'Isle of Wight Festival 20 Greatest Moments' at 9pm on Saturday.
The programme will celebrate the iconic music festival with a look back of some of its most memorable performances from the last half-a-century.
Weekend tickets are now sold out but day passes are still available at isleofwightfestival.com.
