AN ME sufferer will be swimming with dolphins to raise cash for charity.
Edwina Evans, from Barnfield Road, is Bromsgrove's area contact for the Worcestershire ME support group. She will take part in the challenge on Monday, November 20, and money raised will go to the support group and ME Research UK.
Edwina has suffered with ME for 15 years.
It has always been one of her ambitions to swim with dolphins so she has booked to swim at Discovery Cove, Orlando. SeaWorld Orlando created the cove, which is adjacent to the marine life adventure centre. Here animal lovers can swim and play with dolphins.
Edwina said: "I am not a very confident swimmer, as I am scared of water, so this is going to be a really big challenge.
"I know this is going to take a lot of pacing and probably a lot out of me, but I thought I could put the experience to good use by raising money for ME research and our local group."
