BROMSGROVE residents are being invited to a talk being held by a town history society.
This Tuesday, January 15, a talk is being given at the Trinity Centre, in Old Birmingham Road, by Edwin Gumbley.
The talk, organised by the Lickey Hills Society and the Lickey Hills Local History Society, is entitled Bournville – The Village – picture postcards and their messages – 1903 to 1965.
Edwin has based the presentation on 100 picture postcard views of the village from the last century, including the Village Green, Friends Meeting House, Ruskin Hall and Bournville Hall.
Admission costs £2.50, but is free to members of the two societies. Light refreshments will be available.
The meetings starts at 7.45pm.
