YOUNGSTERS from two Bromsgrove schools demonstrated their debating skills at a recent competition.
Pupils from Bromsgrove School and North Bromsgrove High School took part in the Michael Holt debating competition jointly organised by the Rotary Club of North Worcestershire and Bromsgrove Rotary Club.
The Bromsgrove School team, which debated that the United States of America had lost its lead as a world power, were successful in the competition.
Robert Moule, president of the Rotary Club of North Worcestershire, presented the winner’s trophy at the event held at Droitwich Golf Club on November 12.
The debate is held annually in memory of local architect and rotarian Michael Holt, who was also a member of the prestigious Birmingham and Edgbaston Debating Society.
