CUB Scouts at St. Kenelm's troop in Romsley received a visit from two local Police Community Support Officers Cub Scouts recently, when the pair dropped in to answer questions about their jobs.
PCSOs Stuart Taylor and Chelsea Lloyd came equipped with a very big police van, as well as lots of uniforms, shields and equipment, all of which the children got to try out.
The cubs asked questions about the role of police in the community, and then took it in turns to try on the uniforms, dressing up in riot gear, handcuffing each other, and trying out a working speed gun.
They then split into groups to take a tour around the van and play with the blue lights, as well as being locked in the small cell in the back of the van, luckily only temporarily.
PCSOs Taylor and Lloyd also got to try on a different role of their own, when they were made honorary cub scouts.
