Carol opened the meeting, welcomed everyone and gave an update on how Nancie was.
Ellen was thanked for the flowers on the top table which were lovely.
For our 85th birthday next year we will be going on a River Cruise the date is to be decided.
Sheila's McMillan coffee morning raised over £400 which was fantastic for such a good cause and thank you to everyone who supported this.
The speaker this evening was Robert Kendrick. The subject was 'Behind the Scenes with a TV and Film Caterer. This was extremely interesting and also very amusing.
The competition was a selection of autumn berries and the winners were 1st Sheila Morris 2nd Carol Hine and 3rd Beverly Cotterill.
Our next meeting is on November 9 at 7.30pm in the village hall. The speaker is Tracey Bartlam on 'Making Cards for Christmas' Do come along you will be very welcome.
