POLICE carried out speed checks on the Stourbridge Road in Fairfield on Wednesday, using new equipment to show motorists the exact speed they were driving.
Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team were stationed on the road between 8.30am and 10.30am on January 25.
Despite the road being busy, only one vehicle was caught driving faster than the speed limit, at a speed of 36 miles per hour.
A spokesman for the team said: "SNT will continue to monitor areas around North Bromsgrove where we have issues with concerns of speeding."
