Macular Society Barnt Green Support Group
A good start to the year
A surprising number of people, 48 in total including 3 new members, came to listen to David Berry’s humorous tales of retirement at the first meeting of the Macular Society Barnt Green Support Group on 27 January.
The next meeting is on Friday, 24 February at 2 pm in the Parish Centre, behind St Andrew’s Church, Sandhills Road, Barnt Green, B45 8NR. John Dunston, Chairman of the Macular Society, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary will talk on “The Macular Society: Today and Tomorrow”. This will be a Tea for MD, cost £2. Why not come along, find out more about macular conditions and help us celebrate?
The group usually meets on the last Friday of the month. Future dates: 31 March Air Ambulance, 28 April Mr Samer El-sherbiny, Consultant Ophthalmologist at Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre, 26 May Roy Fowler, The Plight of the Barn Owl. Visitors and new members are always welcome.
