Bromsgrove Railway Club
Southern steam in the 1960,s a new speaker and a subject we have covered for a long time we welcome Malcolm Garner from Bewdley for his first visit to our club and to give us this presentation very interesting indeed.
Southern steam in the 1960,s this is getting near to the end of steam on the main line and the introduction of diesels so this presentation will give us a look at steam around London and beyond , Malcolm took his cameras out to record the last of steam in this region travelling a lot of miles to bring us this fascinating presentation.
The Southern region from London south covers many miles going right down to the coast so there is plenty of scope to photograph steam in action , as Malcolm says Fun with Southern steam so make a date and join us , the date of the meeting March 8 as normal we met at St Godwalds Church Hall Aston fields doors open 7.15 for a 7.45pm start book stall and refreshments available on the evening for further details contact Dave 873800 or Gordon 873609.
