Bromsgrove U3A
The University of the Third Age (U3A) is a national organisation dedicated to life-long learning for retired people. The Bromsgrove branch is one of the oldest in England and continues to thrive with a a membership of about 250. There are exciting changes afoot with a move to a new venue in Artrix for our twice monthly general meetings on Tuesday afternoons and an increase in the number of small interest groups, which are held in members’ homes or other small venues. A programme of very knowledgeable speakers, who will give talks on a variety of stimulating subjects, is booked for the summer. There is now room for more members so, if you are interested to learn more about us, contact the membership secretary who will be happy to give you all the information you need: 01527 870449.
