THE Lickey Hills country park has been voted one of the top 50 free attractions in the UK.
A survey, carried out by National Express, rated the best free activities for people to take part in during the half-term holidays.
The Lickey Hills came joint 23rd on the list, beating attractions such as the Banksy Walking Tour in Bristol and Birmingham Library.
The Lake District took the hot spot, followed by the Peak District Hills and Brighton Pier.
Other local attractions to make the list include Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, which took 19th place, and Worcester Cathedral, which came 9th.
Chris Hardy, managing director of National Express, said: "It can be expensive keeping kids entertained over half term do so we’ve pulled together a list showing people how they can make the most of the holidays for free.
"There’s no end of incredible sights to soak up in Worcestershire for free but we hope our list inspires people to visit somewhere new."
