THE car park at Hagley railway station will be closed for a month to allow Severn Trent to carry out work to the sewerage system.
The work begins on Monday, August 14, and is set to finish on Thursday, September 14.
Train operator London Midland is advising travellers to use alternative car parks at Kidderminster or Stourbridge Junction stations.
Trains will continue to serve Hagley during this time but there will be no parking at the station.
London Midland’s head of Snow Hill services, Brenda Lawrence, said: “Severn Trent Water has six months of work to improve the sewerage system around Hagley.
"All residents and business will be affected but we accept the work is necessary.
"We hope our passengers are not too inconvenienced, but the reality is we simply can’t keep the car park open during these four weeks while the work takes place around Hagley station."
