SHOPPERS are being advised to keep their possessions close after several reports of purses and handbags being stolen on the high street.
Thefts have taken place in Poundland, Iceland and Waitrose over the course of the last week.
Bromsgrove Safer Neighbourhood Team is warning residents to 'be very aware and keep possessions close'.
Suspicious behaviour should be reported to shop staff.
Anyone with information on the recent thefts is urged to contact police on 101.
