KIND-hearted pupils from Bromsgrove School have raised a fantastic £5,000 for children’s cancer charity Kidscan.
Kidscan funds and manages research into new and improved treatments for children with cancer.
The charity says there have been many advancements in the treatment of adult cancer but this hasn’t always been the case for children and young adults.
Kidscan’s research is dedicated to ensuring they can change this.
During the academic year, pupils at the school carried out fundraising events which included raffles, non-uniform days, sports day and a park run, all led by Georgie Muscutt and Sophie Roy.
A school spokesman said: “This is a phenomenal amount, raised for a very worthwhile cause.
"The girls chose the charity at the start of the year and the whole house, students, staff and parents at home and overseas have been so generous in their support."
