A WOMAN'S criminal record was so bad it landed her in jail after she stole booze from Morrisons in Droitwich.
Hayley Kirkman admitted the theft and Worcestershire Magistrates sitting in Kidderminster sent her to prison for four weeks, telling her the offence was made more serious as a result of her previous offending.
Kirkman, aged 27, of Randwick Drive, Worcester, pleaded guilty to taking four bottles of alcohol from the store, she was further ordered to pay £20 compensation.
Also before Worcestershire magistrates, Kieran Holden-Trossell from Farriers Corner, Droitwich was made the subject of a community order with a six month curfew requirement which forbids him from leaving his home address between 6pm and 4am.
The 28-year-old was instructed to stay at home after he admitted failing to turn up with out a reasonable excuse to carry out unpaid work as part of a previous order imposed by the court.
Thomas Davies, aged 29, from Nunnery Avenue, Droitwich, was handed a community order including a 28 day curfew requiring to stay at his home between 9pm and 6am. Davies was also ordered to undergo rehabilitation activity, made the subject of a restraining order and instructed to pay £400 costs and a £90 victim surcharge. He admitted causing two victims to fear violence while demanding money from them.
Neal Bryant, aged 37, from Swallows Close, Bromsgrove, was fined £300, ordered to pay £1,000 compensation, £32 victim surcharge and £185 costs. He had pleaded guilty to criminal damage of a Vauxhall Astra.
Martin Geraghty from New Meadow Court, Bromsgrove, pleaded guilty to drunk driving. The 53-year-old was banned from the roads for 16 months, fined £690 and ordered to pay a £69 victim surcharge and £135 costs.
Kurt Lewis, aged 22, from Lyttleton Avenue, Bromsgrove, was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £135 costs after he admitted drunk driving.
Jamie Pinner of Beech Road, Bromsgrove pleaded guilty to drink driving and was handed a community order with a requirement to have treatment for alcohol dependency. The 32-year-old was also banned from driving for 26 months and ordered to pay a £135 costs and a victim surcharge of £91.
Jamie Shallcross, aged 25, of Bourne Avenue, Catshill, was ordered to pay £30.05 compensation after he admitted driving away from a petrol station without paying for fuel. Shallcross also pleaded guilty to driving withour a licence or insurance and was fined £180, ordered to pay £135 costs and a £32 victim surcharge while his driving record was endorsed with six penalty points.
