A MAN who was threatening and abusive towards paramedics has been handed a suspended jail term.
Kevin Murphy, aged 33, of Talbot Road, Bromsgrove, admitted two charges of behaving in a way that would make his victims believe they were in danger of violence.
Worcestershire magistrates sentenced Murphy to six weeks jail suspended for 12 months, he was also ordered to pay £135 costs and a £122 victim surcharge.
Also before Worcestershire magistrates:
Josh Fairweather, aged 24, from Byron Way, Bromsgrove, was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £280, ordered to pay £135 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
He had pleaded guilty to two charges of driving with a prohibited amount of a controlled drug in his blood.
Lauren Buswell, aged 27, of Berrill Close, Droitwich, was ordered to carry out 150 hours unpaid work after she admitted stealing a TV and a vacuum cleaner from a property in the town.
She was also ordered to pay £185 costs, an £85 victim surcharge and £50 compensation.
Mitchell Parrish, aged 31, of Stalls Farm Road, Droitwich was made the subject of a six month curfew requiring him to remain at his home address from 8pm to 6am.
Parrish had pleaded guilty to assault by beating, he was further ordered to pay £100 compensation, £135 costs and a £90 victim surcharge.
Kelly Hardie, aged 43, of Camp Furlong, Droitwich, was banned from driving for 24 months after pleading guilty to driving with excess alcohol in her blood and driving without an appropriate licence or insurance.
Hardie was also fined £200 and ordered to pay £135 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.
Rachel Cooper, aged 43, of Springfield Avenue, Bromsgrove, was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £250 and ordered to pay £135 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.
Cooper had pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol in her blood.
Ashna Powell, aged 23, of Bear Hill, Alvechurch, was given three penalty points, fined £126 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge after he admitted driving without an appropriate licence.
