PRIMROSE Hospice on Bromsgrove High Street is finally welcoming back shoppers who are keen to grab a charity bargain.
The charity shop has not been able to receive direct donations for the last three months due to the Covid lockdown.
Ian McRoy, Primrose Hospice's retail manager, said: "It has been great to welcome back people to Primrose Hospice's charity shops across North-East Worcestershire.
"The shops team have had some really nice comments from our customers who have been pleased to return and pick up a bargain as well as help support their local hospice.
"We are pleased to say that we can accept donations of good quality clothing and homeware on any day we are open. All we ask is that people call ahead if they have a large number of items to donate.
"Thank you to all of our customers for their support. We look forward to seeing you all again over the next few weeks."
The Bromsgrove branch of the hospice is open 9am-5pm and 9am- 4:30pm on Saturdays.
Primrose Hospice also has shops in Redditch, Rubery, Headless Cross and Droitwich.
The Headless Cross store has extended its opening hours on a Thursday until 7pm.
Manger of the Bromsgrove Primrose Hospice shop, Louise Sola, said: "It has been great to see regular customers and some new faces as a lot of people are willing to spend their money as they’ve been hanging on to it for so long. We have had a lot of donations today as everything had to stop over lockdown, but we do have an eBay site which was very successful over lockdown. We have also had a lot of positive comments today as well which is really nice.
"Its great to see the High street so busy and seeing people supporting small businesses and charity shops."
Large furniture can be collected by emailing primrosehc1@aol.co.uk with a picture of the item and contact number.
