A MAN from Redditch has been fined after driving a motor without insurance.
Peter Marsh of Heathfield Road drove a BMW on Middle Piece Drive without the relevant documents and exceeded the 30 miles per hour speed limit.
The 32-year-old was fined £1,000 and ordered to pay £110 in costs.
Another man from Redditch has been handed a six-week jail term suspended for 12 months after resisting a police officer.
Adnaan Hussain of Oak Tree Avenue resisted PC Jackson on December 21, 2020, whilst being subject to a conditional discharge order.
The 26-year-old received a suspended sentence as Hussain injured the officer and became violent in the struggle.
He was also ordered to pay £200 in costs, £200 compensation, and a victim surcharge of £128.
A 47-year-old woman has been handed a community order a after a series of thefts in Kidderminster.
Corrine Harris of Wellington Road, Perry Barr stole a number of items to the value of £100 from Tesco Superstore on Castle Road on July 24.
She then stole a number of items to the value of £83.40 from Tesco on July 26.
Harris was ordered to pay £100 in compensation and attend drug rehabilitation sessions for six months.
Meanwhile, a man from Kidderminster has been handed a 26-week jail term suspended for 18 months.
Karl Goodall of Park Street assaulted an individual and continuously used controlling behaviour against them.
The 34-year-old was ordered to attend alcohol treatment sessions for nine months and was issued with a restraining order.
Goodall was also ordered to pay £500 in costs, £200 in compensation and £128 in victim surcharges.
