A DRIVER has been charged after failing to stop for police in Hopwood on August 8.
Operations Patrol Unit at West Mercia Police took to Twitter to reveal the force's dramatic efforts to stop the car.
The Astra, which had cloned plates, was finally stopped using 'tactical contact' after a 'dangerous pursuit'.
A spokesperson said:"Yesterday this Astra on cloned plates fail to stop for us at #Hopwood.
"Following a dangerous pursuit Officers felt that the safest option to stop the driver was tactical contact.
"This was to prevent injury to the public. The driver has been charged and remanded."
