The farm shop owners have also taken to Facebook to appeal for witnesses, asking anyone with dash cam footage to get in touch with police as the group ran across the road in front of traffic.
The owners say around ten children ran off towards the Perryfields Estate, and one child is believed to have hid in the gateway to The Castle Nursery.
