A spokesperson for North Worcestershire Water Management said: "Unfortunately, we have recently been made aware of another instance of flytipping in one of our local watercourses, located in a normally idyllic location near Belbroughton.

"Our colleagues at Bromsgrove District Council are aware of this.

"Not only does flytipping in a watercourse look unsightly, but the items can cause a blockage in the channel leading to an increase in flood risk locally, and the waste can also be damaging to wildlife and water quality.

"We are urging people to dispose of their waste responsibly so it doesn't end up flytipped along a lane or in a watercourse.

"Each council in North Worcestershire offers a bulky waste collection service if you're unable to take larger items to the tip / donate them to a charity yourself."
