A WOMAN and a boy were treated by paramedics after a house fire in Wythall.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to reports of a house fire on Fulford Close, at around 8.30pm on Sunday evening (August 21).
Medics treated a woman and boy for minor injuries and they were discharged at the scene.
Firefighters from Redditch Fire Station attended the scene, along with crews from Billesley, Solihull and Highgate.
Crews used breathing apparatus and four hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.31pm to reports of a fire at an address on Fulford Close, Wythall, Birmingham. We sent one ambulance to the scene.
"On arrival, we found two patients, a woman and a boy. Both patients were assessed and found with minor injuries. They didn't require hospital treatment and were discharged at the scene.”
