A MAN has been arrested after driving a vehicle under the influence of cocaine.
The driver was spotted by police and consequently followed, after driving erratically in Longbridge.
The man realised he was being followed so jumped in the passenger seat and denied he had been driving even though he was alone in the vehicle.
Police checks revealed he was disqualified from driving and was under the influence of cocaine.
West Midlands Police Traffic Unit tweeted: “We saw this car driving erratically in Longbridge.
“The driver (who was alone in the car) realised he was being followed & jumped in the passenger seat then denied he had been driving.
“Checks found he was already disqualified & he tested positive for Cocaine. #Arrested”
