KIDDERMINSTER brought down the curtain on their Birmingham League Premier One campaign with a crushing seven wicket win over Ombersley.
Dave Brazier blasted a hard hit 51 but there was precious little else from Ombersley's batting as they were bowled out for a well below par 123 after 42 overs.
Wickets were well shared with Charlie Stainforth claiming three for 27 while Neil Pinner with two for 12, Chris Steele two for 29, Liam Weston two for 23 and Barney Morgan one for eight, capturing the remaining wickets to fall.
However, Kidderminster didn't have matters all their own way when they replied.
At one point, the alarm bells were beginning to ring as an early collapse saw them struggle to 15 for three.
Skipper Neil Pinner and wicketkeeper Vikai Dass came to the rescue with a commanding unbeaten fourth wicket partnership of 110.
Pinner plundered 53 not out while Dass kept him company on 48 not out as Kidderminster cantered home on 125 for three in the 38th over.
The result means Kidderminster finish in third spot thanks to an impressive second half of the season.
They were elevated ahead of Knowle and Dorridge after the Station Road side were soundly thrashed by Barnt Green to the tune of 175 runs.
The decision to put Barnt Green into bat first soon backfired as the Green went onto amass 308 for seven from their allotted 50 overs.
Warwickshire pinch hitter Ed Pollock went for a quickfire 30 so it was left to opening partner Ben Chapman-Lilley to lead the charge with a well compiled 70.
Runs continued to flow through Jacques Banton with 59 wicketkeeper Amrinder Brar also got in on the act with 69.
In reply Knowle and Dorridge suffered an early collapse, slumping to 29 for five at one point and never really recovered as they were bowled out for 133.
Andy Sutton rolled back the clock to claim splendid figures of five for 54 and was well backed up by Oxfordshire player Robbie Shurmer and skipper Darrel Williams who both took two for 11.
However a seventh placed finish will prove well below the Green's expectation.
Himley went into the final game of the season with an outside chance of promotion from Premier Two.
In short, Himley had to beat Bromsgrove and then hope second placed Kenilworth Wardens failed to pick up anymore than seven points from their clash with Harborne.
But any prospect of a Himley victory rapidly faded as Bromsgrove proceeded to pile on the runs to reach 282 for six.
Jayden Levitt hit exactly 100 while wicketkeeper Alex Milton did even better by reaching 113, his innings containing 16 fours.
The target proved well beyond Himley who were removed for 209 all out when they replied.
Callum Lea cracked a defiant 69 but it was nowhere near enough as Himley fell 73 runs short after Freddie Fallows finished his season in style by taking four for 29 with his left arm spin.
It meant Himley were left kicking themselves as Wardens were beaten by Harborne but still managed to cling onto second spot.
In fact Himley slipped back a place to finish fourth as Barnards Green leapfrogged ahead of them following their success over already relegated Oswestry who drop down along with Pelsall back to the County League.
Halesowen had already wrapped up the title ahead of their final game against Wem.
Yet there was still no easing off the accelerator as Halesowen rounded off their winning ways with a 54 run success.
Alex Hinkley hammered 114 off 122 balls as Halesowen build a formidable total of 244 all out.
Wem made a promising start in reply as openers Harry Chandler and Sam Peate put on 79 for the first wicket.
Once the partnership was broken, wickets fell at regular intervals as Wem were removed for 190 all out.
Opening bat Jamie Harrison displayed his prowess with the ball by taking four for 47 and was backed up by skipper Alexei Kervezee with three for 36 and Nick Payne who prised out figures of two for 11.
All eyes now turn to the play-offs where Worcester County League champions Stourbridge take on Shropshire winners Worfield, Staffordshire champions Lichfield and Warwickshire's Stratford Upon Avon over the next couple of weekends.
