A TALENTED Bromsgrove artist who featured on a Channel 4 documentary is set to have her work exhibited in a museum.
The work of Prabhneet Sondhi, a 17-year-old student at Bromsgrove School, was featured on Grayson’s Art Club earlier this year.
Her painting called 'My Disjointed Family' won plaudits on the show, hosted by artist Grayson Perry, for its depiction on family life under lockdown.
Prabhneet painting shows how family life can be chaotic, but they are the people you turn to in difficult times.
Now, Prabhneet's painting is set to be displayed in Bristol Museum later this year, an experience she says is 'unbelievable'.
The talented teen said: "The experience was so exciting. The thought of having my artwork appearing in a museum alongside many famous art pieces has never crossed my mind – it is unbelievable. When on Channel 4, I discussed the meaning behind the painting and how it can also relate to people during lockdown.
"It is now going to be exhibited in Bristol museum from December 2021 until September 2022."
A spokesperson for Bromsgrove School said: "A huge congratulations to Prabhneet, everyone is excited to see your artistic future flourish."
