LOUNGE Underwear, which was founded by a Bromsgrove couple, has raised over £250k for breast cancer charities.
The lingerie online retailer has raised £258,000 for CoppaFeel! and Trekstock over the last three years through its #FeelYourBreast campaign.
Most of the funding was raised through the brand’s limited-edition thongs – which required customer to give a minimum donation of £1.
As part of the campaign, Lounge also invited a handful of inspirational women who have all had their own experiences with cancer called Lounge Legends.
Despite making the 2021 Forbes 30 Under 30 List, Lounge co-founder and chief brand officer, Melanie Marsden, said working on this campaign every year is her proudest moment to date.
She said: “My friendships with our Legends and charity partners are so personal to me and it is them that drives the team and I to do what we do, push hard and loud and create the most epically emotional and long-lasting movement that we possibly can.
“I can’t put into words how grateful we are as a brand to everyone who got involved this year including our Loungers, our Legends, and of course, our charity partners - this campaign would be nothing without you all.”
