Noah Andrew’s collection

Noah Andrews, aged seven, from Cofton Hackett, has created a fundraising link to help Ukrainian children.

Noah plays football for Cadbury Athletic and Wolverhampton Wanderers U7. His father Tim said Noah wanted to do something o help the children affected by the conflict in Ukraine. Tim said: “My eldest son was playing in a football cup semi-final for Alvechurch U10 and I was refereeing.

“Noah found two practise cones in the training gear bag that were yellow and blue and realised they were the Ukrainian flag colours.

“At the end of the game when I’d finished referring he came over and said that he had taken the cones around the spectators and asked for donations to help the children of Ukraine affected by the conflict.

“He raised an impressive £2.28 and was thrilled to bits!

“He had since added £20 of his own money and managed to get another £80 out of family and friends.

“I was impressed with his enterprise and thoughtfulness.

“We set up a JustGiving page and the money is now rolling in.”

Since then, more than £2,00 has been donated via Noah’s Link.
