BROMSGROVE MP, Sajid Javid, has announced the return of his popular jobs fair.

The fair will be returning for its seventh instalment on Friday, April 22 at North Bromsgrove School and will be held in person for the first time since moving online due to the Covid pandemic.

In 2019, the fair saw people take advantage of thousands of career opportunities being offered by over 70 local, national, and international employers.

So far, confirmed attendees of this year's fair include Severn Trent, Hewett Recruitment, JCB, Barclays Bank and the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

Sajid Javid said “I am delighted to be hosting my Bromsgrove Jobs Fair once again. They have been a fantastic success in the past for both businesses and attendees and I know this one will be the same.

“I know how intimidating it can be to apply for a job. That’s why my jobs fair gives everyone the chance to talk one-on-one with potential employers, and hear about the opportunities available to them first-hand.

“Whether you’re looking for a job that’s full-time, part time, a change of career or an apprenticeship, I would be delighted to see you at the fair. There really is something for everyone.

"Finally, I would especially like to thank Excool, The Best Connection and Sanctuary Group for being our primary sponsors for the fair. The jobs fair wouldn't be possible without the generous contribution of local organisations who care about our community."

The jobs fair will be held from 10 am to 12 pm at North Bromsgrove High School and will be free for exhibitors and members of the public to attend. To register for the event, click here.
