A BROMSGROVE author who released her debut novel during the pandemic will be holding a long-awaited official book signing event this weekend.
The event will coincide with the launch of her second, follow-up novel - 'Annie's Story'.
Due to work and family commitments, it took Fiona Partridge fifteen years to write her first fictional story of Rob and Annie Lawson.
Lockdown in 2020 finally provided the perfect opportunity for her to put pen to paper and ‘The Colour of Marriage’ was published in October 2021.
'The Colour of Marriage’ is written from lead character Rob Lawson’s perspective whilst ‘Annie’s Story’ gives Rob’s wife, Annie, a voice.
‘Annie’s Story’ will be officially released on May 7 and the following day Fiona will be hosting a book signing at The Boat Shack in Upton Warren between 1 pm and 3 pm.
Fiona said: “The Boat Shack was an inspirational setting in the development of both books so is the perfect venue for holding this long-awaited event.
"I’m really looking forward to meeting people now – those who have already read my first novel and those completely new to the life of the Lawsons.”
Fiona’s books can be purchased direct at fionapartridge.co.uk as well as from The Boat Shack and from leading booksellers.
