A HAIRDRESSING salon in Bromsgrove has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.
Ginger on Worcester Road has made it through to the final six in the ‘Salon of the Year 2’ category at HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards 2022.
The awards, which are sponsored by L’Oréal Professionnel Paris, recognise the names that have built quality salons.
Ginger made the final stage of the competition after creating a detailed entry, outlining their expertise and professionalism.
Charlotte Evans, owner of Ginger said: “We are thrilled to have made the finals of such a respected event.
“We have worked really hard at shaping a thriving salon, and we’re delighted to be nominated.
“I’m so proud of our team for delivering a high level of excellence day in, day out, and for producing such a beautiful business – it’s totally a team effort.”
A total of 17 trophies will be handed out at the finals, including the new 2022 Sustainable Salon of the Year award, which recognises salons that put sustainability at the forefront of their business.
Jayne Lewis-Orr, executive director of the British Hairdressing Business Awards said: “These awards are recognition of the standout people and businesses in the hairdressing industry, celebrating their talent, passion and commitment to making British hairdressing so revered.
“To make the Salon of the Year 2 shortlist, finalists, need to show excellence in all areas, from faultless customer care and inspirational training opportunities to innovative marketing and ongoing staff support.
“Ginger should feel proud to be recognised for their ongoing success.”
Winners will be announced at HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards on Monday, July 4 at London’s Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, to an audience of some of the industry’s most prolific names.
