SOCIAL housing provider, Bromsgrove District Housing Trust (bdht) has appointed two members of its housing and communities’ team.
Matt Stus, who has been with bdht for the past ten years in various roles is now head of sustainable homes.
He said: “Our ongoing task is tackling the problem of homelessness while dealing with the chronic shortage of housing across the country.”
Lisa Sutton, who has 20 years in the housing sector, has been welcomed as the new head of sustainable communities.
She said: “The fallout from the pandemic and the current cost of living crisis creates an additional layer of challenges for us while supporting our customers in their homes.
“But by working with our partners including the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB), local authorities and health and wellbeing services, our aim is to ensure as many people as possible are in long-term, secure housing across Bromsgrove and the surrounding area.”
