A CHARITY fundraiser is being held in memory of a Bromsgrove teenager who died after a "courageous" battle with a rare form of cancer.
The family of Isabelle Gadd is hosting an ABBA tribute night which will raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Isabelle, a former pupil at South Bromsgrove High School was diagnosed with cancer, first discovered in her sinus area, when she was just 16.
After battling with rhabdomyosarcoma, a soft tissue cancer, for months on end, she had a brief period of remission last summer.
But the cancer returned in her brain and spine and Isabelle died on January 8 this year at the age of 17.
The brave teen had a nurse specialist and a youth worker all funded by Teenage Cancer Trust.
Isabelle's mum Gina Gadd said: "There's a big part missing which is why we wanted to do this.
"We miss her dreadfully.
"She loved to dance. When she was diagnosed she went onto TikTok and did dances on there. It helped her.
"She was the life and soul of the party.
"She actually said she wanted to go to Greece and dance like in Mamma Mia.
"She was a happy girl - she was always smiling".
The event will be held on Friday, September 2 at Court Leet at 8pm in Bromsgrove.
People can enjoy the ABBA tribute act Agnetha and Frida, and also win prizes at the raffle, including a hotel stay for two, restaurant vouchers, day-out vouchers, and a bungee jump experience.
People can purchase tickets at Court Leet or by making a £10 donation to the family's JustGiving page.
Gina added: "All money raised in Izzy's name will go to helping young people with cancer aged 13-25 exclusively in the West Midlands region".
