AFTER 21 matches and 1,680 hours of rugby, Bromsgrove RFC's second string clinched the inaugural North Midlands Reserve Team League Two trophy.
In a closely contested league, Bromsgrove fought off the challenge of Walsall, winning by just one point, with Bridgnorth and Aston Old Edwardians also coming close.
Despite using over 30 players and losing key members of the squad to long term injuries early on in the season, the core of the team, led by captain Andy Murdoch pulled together and fully deserved to finish in top spot.
