DRIVERS in and around Bromsgrove will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 9 pm December 5 to 6 am December 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions J1 to J5, lane closures with switching for maintenance work.
And one more closure will begin over the next seven days:
• M42, from 9 pm December 19 to 6 am December 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M42 southbound, J3A to J2, hard shoulder closure leading to a closure of J3 exit slip road for barrier repairs.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
