RESIDENTS at a Hagley nursing home were treated to an art session with a talented local artist whose work has featured in the New York Times.

Daniel Whitehouse, known as Super Freak, visited Field House Residential Care Home on Tuesday January 17.

Wellbeing co-ordinator and a relative of the artist Pauline Whitehouse arranged the visit which she said went down a storm with the residents.

She said: “He came into the home and did an original painting with the residents who all have dementia...it was amazing.”
