A FORMER well-loved café and a Post Office in Bromsgrove could be converted into a flat.
The Fairfield Café on Stourbridge Road closed last September due to the increased costs of energy bills and materials.
And the Post Office closed in November 2021 due to staff shortages and the effects of the Covid pandemic.

However, now the units could become a three-bedroom flat.
Plans have been put forward to Bromsgrove District Council by applicants, Mr and Mrs Ohri.
Proposals show the current café area could become an open plan living and kitchen area; the existing kitchen could become a bedroom along with the former Post Office and a vacant space which could become another two bedrooms.

Part of the former Post Office could also become a bathroom.
The application states that parking is already provided for the proposed flat and there are no issues with noise from nearby commercial premises.
