A WORCESTERSHIRE man competing in the latest season of The Apprentice is among the bookies' favourites to win the entire show.
Joseph Phillips is competing to win Lord Alan Sugar's £250,000 business investment this year.
Joseph Phillips, from Blackwell, Bromsgrove, has been impressing on the BBC series including leading his team to victory in a task in Antigua selling a bespoke tour to holidaymakers in the area.
The former Bromsgrove School pupil calls himself the 'James Bond of the business world', something which Lord Sugar has teased him about on the series.
Marnie Swindells is the favourite to win the series at odds of 7/2 but Joseph is now the clear second favourite at odds of 5/1.
He moved into second as former favourite to be the runner up, Gregory Ebbs, was the latest contestant to leave The Apprentice after a disastrous Week Three task.
Fourteen candidates still remain in the series which is set to last for another nine weeks.

Joseph studied zoology at the University of Exeter before becoming a safari guide in South Africa.
He has said his dyslexia is the “driving force” for him to succeed and prove his capabilities.

“It’s made me fight harder to keep up with everyone else,” Joseph added.
The Apprentice airs on BBC1 at 9pm every Thursday.
