DRIVERS had a lucky escape after fire crews rushed to a crash on the M5 last night.
Three fire crews attended the scene of the two-car crash on the M5 southbound between junctions 5 (Droitwich) and 6 (Worcester) at 10.20pm last night.
Crews from Droitwich, Worcester and Bromsgrove Fire Stations all attended but found no casualties and nobody trapped in their vehicles.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "The incident involved two cars and one vehicle was moved to the hard shoulder but no persons were trapped. Crews assisted Highways with traffic management. Police, ambulance and Highways all attended but there were no casualties. The incident was marked as closed at 11.01pm."
