MORE than £100,000 of damage has been caused after a break in at a warehouse in Cofton Hackett.

The burglary took place sometime between midnight on Friday, January 27 and 6am on Monday, January 30 at a warehouse at the Cofton Centre on Groveley Lane in Cofton Hackett.

A window was smashed to gain entry and once inside the offender(s) caused extensive damage to the roller shutter doors, kitchen, appliances, wall and floors.  The estimated cost of the damage is in the region of £100,000.

A 60-inch television was also stolen during the break in.

Local policing inspector Richard Field said “The damage caused during this break in was significant, and it’s likely that someone saw or heard something suspicious, perhaps without realising it at the time.

“We’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area over the weekend and may have any information which could help us with our investigation.
