A HOUSING trust in Bromsgrove clocked up more than 1,000 hours of volunteer work in the community.
Last year, employees from Bromsgrove District Housing Trust (bdht) gave one day or seven and half hours on the job to support good causes as part of the trust’s 1000 hours charity campaign.
The campaign exceeded expectations with the total figure of hours completed finishing at 1,022 hours.
Samantha Powell, HR officer at bdht, said: “The 1,000 hours initiative has taken our team on a fantastic journey.
“We are incredibly proud to have given back to local organisations which play such a vital role in the community.
“Not only has this helped worthy causes, but our staff have also united in such a strong way and we have really developed as a team.
“We look forward to continuing this project in the years to come as we have seen such a positive impact this campaign has created.”
