Shoppers have been able to buy the drink at Sainsbury’s Local on Stourbridge Road but say the store has limited the amount people can buy – capping the number at three per customer.
The drinks, which are being sold at £2.50 at Sainsbury’s, are also available lemon lime flavour, blue raspberry, tropical punch and ice pop.
Prime is made up of 10 per cent coconut water and 825 milligrams of electrolytes.
